Seeking inspiration from the vegetation along the bank, I spot tiny Diptera. They look like St.Mark flies, just far smaller. My next attempt is with a size 20 grub hook black larva, and with a 0.12. Despite my previous good intention about not scaling down the 0.14, I manage to reassure myself by thinking that I still have the landing net at hand.
