Peter Duncan Malloch (1853-1921) lived in Scotland, he was angler, fishing tackle maker, naturalist and also known for his fine fish carving art works. Malloch was an authority on matters relating to salmon, trout and other fresh water fish species. He accounts among one of the first in studying the importance of markings on salmon. By marking the fish he could explain every period the fish had spent in river or sea. Malloch's store in the High Street in Perth was opened in 1871 and was specialised in fishing and hunting equipment. After one and half century of service, the store shut this year in February 2020.
