The top part of the river Schwarzbach is also called Dattenbach (from the Dattenbach valley). It is here a small brook. Its water looks murky and milky and it is rich in Benthos.

This sample was taken upstream of a sewage treatment plant. The brook is here a tiny line running through a meadown. Similarly to the larger strecth downstream of the plant the water was murky. Considering the relative high water temperature, I found a good presence of macrobenthos and bio-diversity.
