The Siphnoperla (small yellow Sally) can be at first glance confused with the bigger Yellow Sally. The hatching period is also the same and the habitats too.
The Siphonoperla has cerci almost as long as the abdomen and in comparison with the Yellow Sally (I.grammatica) is much smaller.
