Limnephilus bipunctatus is a good-sized sedge. This one's fore wings were about 1.5 cm long. While I was streamer-fishing the reservoir for predators, I noticed skating sedges on the surface. They were popping out from the water and skating to the bank to grab emerging weeds, that they climbed to dry their wings before flying.
