The gears: during the last years the fly fishing has experienced an exponential growth of offers of the most disparate related products. Like in a fast fashion driven type of business, new rods and reels are offered every few months, promising the non-plus-ultra new feature, all-line-shooting, indispensable extra one foot in length and so on, in hope to keep on selling more and more. The refresh time of rod models are shortening, but what are they really offering more than the previous models? I catch the same fish with rods more than 20 years old.
