It has been a wonderful day on the chalk stream. During the all afternoon, middle sized brown mayflies have been hatching. Trout have been in feeding frenzy, at times on the drifting nymphs and emergers, at times on the winged insect. In spite being mid October, the hope is now to enjoy a great "coup de soir".
