We arrive at the river around noon, the morning hatch is now over, no surface activity. After exploring for a while with a sedge search pattern, eventually olive duns start riding the stream, and fish start rising. The fish's takes are not breaking the water film, rather they cause a bulge, like a displacement of the water surface. A sure sign that the trout are taking nymphs right under the surface.
