5 - Move about 3-4 mm. back with the mounting thread, flip the partridge fibers on the back of the fly toward the curve
and start wrapping the thread backwards, ensuring that the first part of the fibers will remain uncovered to form the
wingcase. Complete the uniform body with the mounting thread. 6 - If the fibers are long enough they will form the tails (but if not it will work well too). 7 - A drop of varnish on the wing-case 8 - Trim the hackle if they are too long 9 - Secure the head and finish. |
